Somerville, MA-laughing today at memory of Anna & Clara at CVS-gals who re-stocked the cards. They'd pull out a new card & say, "Get a load of this!" I'd look at a funny card & we'd all laugh hysterically. Laughing or smiling on a job in NC is considered "slacking off." Southerners also don't get "The Office"-people partying w/their boss after hours at "Chili's." I miss bosses who knew how to "party down." (Hell, I miss "bosses" period, LOL!). Southerners only have "master/slave" relationships between bosses and employees. Bad morale and what's even worse is when you get cheated out of your pay. (In other words, "If I can't smile on this friggn' job the least you can do is "pay" me!). Also, think it's terrible that most of the companies in suburban NC will not even buy chips and dip for their employees at Christmas. That's the old textile mil
