Aziza Al-Tawil's World

On a lovely day in March that was a rare 84 degrees we did a photo shoot at the State Capitol of WV.  I wore a black beach dress from "Venus" and some of my own jewelry creations. Saw a lot of beautiful wildlife too like birds and squirrels. Returned home from a thrilling trip to Los Angeles where I won the top prize on "You Bet Your Life" and did some celebratory photo shoots. The show was taped last September and finally aired on February 8th, 2022. The episode is called "Goat Yoga" and is Episode 123 of Season 1. There is some other fun news coming soon about the direction my acting career is taking. For this photo shoot I went all out with a 1960's look. So much fun with a hot pink paisley crop top with ruffled sleeves, velvet tight pants, and some sexy black Spanish looking shoes. The jewelry as usual was mostly stuff of my own creation. Well, I always knew I had 2 things in common with the wonderful actress Anna Maria Horsford. We  shared the same birthday and are both native New Yorkers. Hi Everyone! A lot has been happening since I last posted. The film I was in "The Grave Caller"(2018) came out on "TubiTV" (It's also known as simply "Grave Caller" not sure why the distributor initially dropped the "The.") While I've been happy the film is doing well it's been very sad to see and experience the events in the world as of late. The "Covid 19" pandemic has been very sad and of course, very dangerous! While in "Quarantine," "Shelter in Place," or whatever you might want to call going out for food about once every ten days or so and hunkering down at home the rest of the time, I decided to use this time to be "creative." I've given my life to the preservation of lost steps of traditional belly dance as danced by the elders who did it since childhood. They did it in a time when there was no "mass media" and a new fad did not come along every fifteen minutes. A bad bout with respiratory problems put a delay on production of a new video dedicated to the dance as I knew it from elder immigrants from Greece and parts of Turkey and the Middle East and Asia Minor. After my exciting experience as "The Psychic" in Joseph Anderson's independent "Horror, Thriller, Romance" film "Grave Caller" I can't wait to take the year 2019 by storm. I'm already kicking diabetes "to the curb" and am determined to have more roles and projects of my own come to fruition. Happy with some new photos that show me looking a bit perkier after starting treatment for "Type 2 Diabetes."
